Night School

5 to 9 Night School is dedicated to empowering high-level BIPOC women who are working 9 to 5 jobs to pursue their entrepreneurial aspirations and generate multiple streams of income. Through paid classes, mentorship, and pitch opportunities, we provide the knowledge, resources, and support needed to turn entrepreneurial dreams into reality.

Program Description:
5 to 9 Night School offers a unique opportunity for high-level BIPOC women to enhance their entrepreneurial skills and explore new business ventures outside of their traditional 9 to 5 roles. Our classes, mentorship sessions, and pitch nights are designed to equip participants with the tools and confidence to succeed as entrepreneurs.

Key Program Components:

  1. Paid Classes:
    Participants have access to paid classes both virtually and in person, covering topics such as real estate investing, beginner business basics, and brick-and-mortar startups. Led by industry experts, these classes provide practical insights and actionable strategies for building successful businesses.

  2. Mentorship and Guest Coaches:
    5 to 9 Night School offers mentorship opportunities with experienced entrepreneurs and guest coaches who provide guidance, feedback, and support throughout the program. Participants benefit from personalized advice and valuable connections to help them navigate their entrepreneurial journey.

  3. Pitch Nights:
    Participants have the opportunity to pitch for startup or seed funding for their business ideas at designated pitch nights. Pitch nights are held at graduation events, which occur once per quarter at our regular STK (Secure The Key) events. Attendance at STK workshops is mandatory, with at least one workshop required to be eligible to pitch.

  4. Networking and Community Building:
    5 to 9 Night School fosters a supportive community where participants can connect, collaborate, and learn from each other's experiences. Networking events and online forums provide opportunities to build relationships, share resources, and celebrate successes.
